Well here I am back home....
It is Sunday Evening, the weather this weekend has been glorious and I have loved spending time enjoying the sunshine, walking along the beach with my Hubby and little Poodles, watching the dogs chase each other, happy playing and living in the moment.. pure bliss :-)
So much has happened since my last post....
We learn so much about ourselves with the events that happen in our lives and how interesting it was for me when I discovered both my British and Australian passports were missing. |

5 weeks to go....
I can hardly believe it has been so long since I wrote my blog... what excuse can I give... I wonder...
Ok I have been busy (how lame does this sound) The truth is that other priorities seem to have got in the way of my usual daily routine.
Looking after my 4 year old grandson has been my main distraction, plus my daughter moving from one place to another beautiful rented home in this wonderful Yorkshire countryside. The views from my bedroom window are awesome, just looking out at the endless green fields and hearing the sound of sheep in the distance together with birdsong leaves me with an inner sense of peace. |

Just sat in the little internet cafe I used at Christmas. The weather is so different now to then, the sun is shining and the weather is warm even though we are still in March! I am here helping my daughter to recover from having a pacemaker fitted as well as looking after my Grandson, Harvey. Although, I am enjoying being with my family over here, I do miss my hubby, family and friends in Australia. I also miss my clients and routine of work and walking Rosie and Sasha. |

What an interesting year this is so far... I am amazing myself at the improvement in my running and as my car was off the road for almost two weeks, I decided to run from home. (we live on a mountain!) hence my hill running has improved dramatically and now running on the flat for 10k seems easy. My main goal was to run the Gold Coast 1/2 marathon in July this year.... Sometimes, life events mean we have to move our goal posts. My daughter is having surgery next month and I am travelling back to the UK for 6 months to look after her and also spend time looking after my grandson. |
